Tomorrow night illustrator Marcus Oakley comes to the ICA to create more of his cheery, wholesome characters in response to pop rock/soft rock/synth rock/heavy rock/smooth rock/folk rock. I’m fully hoping that he will be wearing faded denim dungarees and spinning Californian harmonies. He’s bringing two equally talented friends along:Dan Has Potential and Colin Henderson. Music will come from Nick Taylor and Toby Shaul.

WOW. This is amazing and i am jealous. Im in carlisle studying illustration so a bit far away….but thankfully my sister lives in london. Any chance of more future days being published so i can plan a visit around it……?

I am yet to confirm final details for December but it is going to be another big event in our theatre with live music and will be hosted by illustrators from Print Club.www.printclublondon.com

Hi there, Heavy Pencil has gone into hibernation and is no longer doing events at the ICA. Andrew Rae has taken on the mantel and organises them every now and again – he next one is in Stockholm! I will add you to the mailing list so we’ll be sure to let you know when the next one is.
