Print Club London are going to be weilding the pencils of Yuletide in December. Print Club is an East London based screenprinting studio that came to my attention because of the great summer show they do. Lots of previous Heavy Pencil artists have been involved and made beautiful prints with them so it was only a matter of time. Rose stallard is the co-founder and she’ll be bringing, Chrissie Abott, Hand Wash Studio, and Danny Sangra along.
Yes in a repeat of October’s theatre extravaganza, December’s Heavy Pencil is going to be a big live music special. It’s a specific type of live performance that will sit happily with live drawing on massive screens going on simultaneously and I think Simon Bookish will be just right. And he kind of looks like a drawing himself don’t you think?
The drawing will come from rock and roll illustrator Rose Stallard who is partly responsible for the excellent Print Club London and she’ll be bringing along some excellent collaborators who have all been involved with Print Club – more details soon.
